Individual Counseling

Your unique story deserves a treatment approach designed to meet your specific behavioral health needs. Just as no one else can tell your story better than you, there is not “one-size-fits-all” therapy. Your path to change will be your own. A strong therapeutic relationship will lay the foundation for working collaboratively with Claudia in creating a shared vision. Part of this process is building a roadmap or treatment plan. It is a joint effort between the two of you. Using a client-centered approach, Claudia will incorporate different strategies and types of psychotherapy to empower you to skillfully move forward with the intention of reaching your destination.

Claudia is trained/certified in evidence-based practices and other theoretical orientations to tailor treatment strategies for your current needs and therapeutic goals: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and  Somatic Therapy. and in grief treatment. Claudia also completed an 8-week virtual course on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy through University of Oxford in 2020.
